The Sakura G2 Glass Coverslipper (Tissue-Tek® Glas™ g2) is a fully automated, high-throughput glass coverslipping system designed to meet the demands of modern histology and cytology laboratories. This advanced system replicates the precision of manual coverslipping while delivering the consistency, speed, and safety of automation.

Engineered to streamline workflows, the Glas™ g2 can process up to 400 slides per hour and supports continuous loading for enhanced efficiency. The unit offers up to nine customizable programs that let labs fine-tune parameters like speed, mounting media volume, and coverslip size. Compatible with 40, 50, 55, and 60 mm coverslips preloaded in disposable holders, the system ensures quick changeovers and minimal downtime.

Designed to integrate with the Tissue-Tek Prisma® and Prisma® Plus stainers, the G2 forms a seamless walkaway staining and coverslipping solution. Its advanced filtration system and optional barcode scanner meet safety and compliance requirements.
