Description

The ConMed ClearGuard™ Disposable Biopsy Valve is designed to provide a secure, low-leak seal during endoscopic procedures while maintaining smooth access for biopsy forceps, snares, injection needles, cleaning brushes, and other therapeutic devices. ClearGuard valves help preserve insufflation, reduce contamination risk, and improve visibility by minimizing fluid and gas leakage at the endoscope’s biopsy port.

The valve’s transparent housing allows staff to visually confirm alignment and proper positioning, while its flexible seal material supports repeated instrument insertion without tearing or compromising pressure control. ClearGuard is single-use, sterile, and cost-effective, eliminating reprocessing labor and cross-contamination risks associated with reusable valves.

Two compatibility options are available:

• Olympus / Fujifilm endoscopes
• Pentax endoscopes
